作為Google^W fans，iGardener老師曾經對2009年面世的Google Wave^W寄以厚望，並在中四的課堂試用，嘗試開展三年新高中ICT的滑浪之旅，可惜Google^W攪 social，像男扮女裝，毫不自然，最終都是被用家放棄。

Google^W被Steve Jobs^W影響，近年來持續執行網上服務的大掃除行動，在本周更宣布將終止Google Wave、Gears、Bookmarks Lists、Friend Connect、Search Timeline、Knol與Renewable Energy Cheaper than Coal等產品。

Google Wave^W是Google於2009年發表的整合通訊協作平台，由於使用者的接受度未達預期，使得Google^W去年8月便宣布要終止該計畫。Google^W本周表示，明年1月底時Google Wave^W將只能讀取，但無法建置新的Wave，而且會在4月底完全關閉。

今天iGardener老師終於收到Google^W的電郵，Google Wave^W正式「被夕陽」了：

不知道為甚麼Twitter^W在香港總是紅不起，新浪微博^W的用途亦只流於娛樂八卦的碎碎念，這幾年iGardener主要是靠Twitter^W直接了解外國的教育趨勢（尤其電子學習），很感慨外國的老師不須教育部門的「大方向」或先導計劃，便可以自發利用低成本的社交網站^W，組織不少甚具影響力的學習群體，如 Flat Classroom 等，我們香港嘛，仍是熱衷和留戀於成立「同鄉會」式的諸般學界協會……

好了，回復正能量的園丁吧！

記得在24/9的《Education 2.5me: Master the new Media in learning environment 新媒體 伸教學》的研討會中，有同工對園丁《新媒體、真學習》短講中提及的外國教育twitters十分感興趣，除了我寄了給他們的幾個twitter名稱之外，還整理一下現有過百的跟隨(follows)，現精選了25 個甚具代表性的教育twitters，在此公開推介給各位有志了解外國教育趨勢的同工吧！

Steve Jobs^W喬布斯生前，園丁曾經介紹過有關他的兩三套影片。

喬布斯^W去世後，很多人才想發掘他的生平事蹟，各科老師都想使用他的生平作教材和考試材料，故園丁從不同的PLN知道，美國的電子媒體製作了不少很精簡的記錄片（大多45分鐘），有些已在YouTube^W上載，有些已在YouTube^W迅速下架，故此我盡力將仍可以播放的列出：

iGardener老師應電子學習聯盟的邀請，於《Education 2.5me: Master the new Media in learning environment 新媒體 伸教學》的研討會中，分享《新媒體、真學習》的短講。

當學生每天都使用新媒體溝通時（其實老師又何嘗不是？），老師可以視之不見，還是善用它？我的分享便是後者的少少經驗啦。

當天一早便到了鰂魚涌青協大廈附近（由新界西北乘車到港島東當然要預備充足時間），吃過早餐便去到9樓的演講廳，距離開始時間尚早，園丁已見到Erwin和Francis，而最早在講臺上準備PowerPoint^W演示檔的不是別人，而是研討會的主禮嘉賓，教育局陳維安副局長，園丁初次見他，已看到他做事十分認真。

 致送紀念品後，大家一起影大合照。

iGardener老師分享《新媒體、真學習》的短講中，強調「真」學習是「真實學習經歷 authentic learning experience」，不是「真假」之分。

分享了新高中 ICT科的社交學習網絡HKICT Network (http://www.facebook.com/hkict)的課程經驗和意義，是建立一個新高中課程提倡的全方位的「學習群體 learning community」。

與其他講者，一起進行了討論時間。

AITLE主席Albert當天的分享是內容及幽默兼備，園丁當向高手學習。

研討會後因為要趕到學校的學生成長日營，乘的士時收到陳維安副局長的電郵，說很欣賞iGardener老師《新媒體、真學習》的短講，還向我索取短講的演示檔案，我本已打算上載在blog公諸同好，當然樂意寄給陳副局 ，幾天後，我發現他已將小園丁的演示上載到他的SlideShare網站戶口，真好，大家不如在他的SlideShare重溫我的短講吧！

再次感謝電子學習聯盟的邀請，iGardener老師將會繼續學習新媒體的教學策略，與同工分享！

回想2011年6月初試iPad2^W時，我發了一個傻夢：希望我可以爭取資源及機會給我的學生，讓他們像國際學校或美國的1-to-1電腦模式學習（至少短期），擴闊眼界，不因家境影響對電子學習的接觸。

暑假時，有機會與香港蘋果的教育供應商馬田電腦開會時，園丁大膽將這構思提出，在中學選一批高中學生試用iPad2^W，期間更會借給他們回家使用，體驗1-to-1電腦模式學習，即是說我們需要大約三十部iPad2^W，對機構來說實在不是一個小數目。

很感謝機構的支持，大家便在很短的時間，在八月各自準備，機構準備30部iPad2^W及有關網絡設備如AP；我和IT組奇雲大師便準備相關課程，待iPad^W一到校便可以在課程中使用。

我們擬定此計劃為－《平板電腦先導學習計劃》，預算九月便開展！

又証明一件事：「只要有夢想，凡事可成真！」

iPad^W啊，我和同學們熱切等待您的來臨！

在基督教^W的信仰中，「跟隨」耶穌基督^W是人生的一件大事，經過深思熟慮，是準備負代價的；相反社交網絡^W時代的「跟隨」只是按一個 “follow” 鍵，不喜歡時按一個 “unfollow” 鍵，「跟隨」像變得很隨便啊！

當社交網絡^W時代中人類遇險時，不先逃生或報警，而是在facebook^W或Twitter^W發訊，這警告牌便不只是一個笑話了！
